Refined details

A distinctive design feature on Smeg’s latest collection is the copper or stainless steel trim on the built in appliances. Eclipse black glass allows you to see inside once the appliance is in use, illuminating the interior. The LCD displays are clear and easy to use with brightly coloured icons to help you find your required settings. Characterised by these stylish and unique features, Dolce Stil Novo will undoubtedly create a stunning focal point in any kitchen.

 

Modern features

A clever design that features on selected single and compact ovens is the automatic retractable handle. The handle is cleverly concealed and sits flush against the door. You can touch the display to release the handle. It automatically retracts when the oven door is closed and releases again once cooking begins, providing air circulation. When cooking has finished and the oven has cooled the handle will automatically retract once again. This innovative design provides a streamlined appearance when the oven is not in use. It is also useful for cooling your oven down after cooking, without needing to leave the door open.

SmartSense is another useful feature used in the Dolce Stil Novo ovens. Choose between 50 automatic recipes that you can cook from and also amend according to the type of food, weight and desired cooking result. There are also 10 customisable recipes where you can add your favourite dishes, these cooking preferences can be stored and used again. SmartSense will even tell you which shelf position is best for your food, ensuring great results every time!

Hoods, hobs and more!

Create a harmonious look by extending your collection to the matching hob and cooker hood. With a variety of hobs including gas, induction, mixed fuel and domino to choose from, you can select the most suitable type for your kitchen. Similarly with cooker hoods, there is plenty of choice with Dolce Stil Novo. Angled chimney hoods create a dramatic appearance whereas a discreet canopy hood may be more to your taste. A downdraft model also provides a subtle method of extraction; hidden beneath the worktop until it is needed, a downdraft extractor is powerful and reduces noise levels.
